M&H Group Principals
Lou Madge has extensive experience in M&A, operations, technology management and commercialization, marketing and business development to help clients solve business or technology problems. Prior to joining M&H Group, Lou spent 7 years in management consulting with Deloitte Consulting, one of the largest global consulting firms and part of Deloitte & Touche. Lou’s managerial responsibilities included managing projects and staff for clients like Irving Oil, Boston Scientific, Dow, BNY-Mellon, JP Morgan, UBS, Liberty Mutual, State Street Corp, Fortress, Lifespan, Tufts Healthcare and others. In addition, Lou held corporate operations responsibilities assisting with the management of Deloitte’s regional P&L and working with senior executive leadership to identify strategic opportunities to grow the practice. Furthermore, as a former National Sales and Marketing Manager at ECI Technology, Lou had P&L responsibilities and developed new markets and applications for patented technologies and process controls equipment sold to manufacturers like IBM, Intel, AMD, Motorola, Texas Instruments, Lockheed Martin, Novellus, Applied Materials and others. Lou graduated with honors with a B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (R.P.I), he was a recipient of a Kauffman Foundation scholarship and received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
Dr. Martin Hudis, Ph.D.
Martin Hudis has over 30 years of power component development and engineering experience. Thirteen of these 33 years have been with high voltage pulsing capacitors including 11 years as the VP of engineering for Aerovox, Inc. Martin is approaching his 10th year on the CARTS program committee, is on the US TAG (technical advisor group) committee for the 13 IEC film capacitors standards, has 7 patents and over 30 papers dealing with film capacitors and dielectric science, has served on IEEE subcommittees (transformer and switchgear), and has taught power system engineering courses as a visiting lecturer at both San Diego State College and University of MA (Dartmouth Campus). Martin has a PhD in applied plasma physics from MIT and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Hillary Madge has over 4 years of manufacturing consulting experience, serving in sales, marketing, operations and financial analysis roles. She has worked on quality improvement, laboratory development, cost-reduction, market analysis and new sales initiatives projects. Hillary received an engineering degree from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
